To my best friend's new college friends,

To start out I just want you to know you have gained a wonderful friend. She is one of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life. She has such a big heart and she cares about everyone with every being in her body. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met and would do anything for the people she loves. In saying that, I want to also tell you to never take her friendship and having her with you every day for granted. Her friendship is something amazing and life changing. I have had the honor to be her friend for 10+ years and in those years we have both changed so much and yet her friendship has never changed. In those years no matter what was going on in her life or mine if I needed her she was there for me always. Now she'll be there for you as well. If you need her there she will be no matter what she has going on. If it's important to you it's important to her. It didn't matter if we hadn't spoken in a couple days, she was always there for me with open arms and a shoulder to cry on. I hope you understand that having someone like her as a friend is like winning first place in the Olympics.

I want you to know that if she believes you are a good friend and person, then you are. Yet at the same time I want you to know that if you give her any reason to doubt her initial idea of you, that is not okay. I am very over protective of her because she is my best friend, so please do not hurt her. Cherish her and her friendship because the love she is showing you is one of the most amazing feelings in the world. There will be times where she will get on your nerves so bad and you will just want to kill her, but don't. She's just trying to show you that she loves you and that she's there for you. There will be times that you may not be in a good mood and don't want anyone around let her be there for you.

Go on adventures together, stay up all night and eat ice cream, do each other's makeup, take a bunch of selfies and be there for each other. We've been friends for years and I've watched her grow and she's watched me grow. Hopefully y'all will always have each other. I hope I get the honor to meet you, all of you because her friends are my friends. If she has found great people in college that will go on late night food runs, I should meet you! I hope for your sake you have her as your friend for the rest of your life. I couldn't think of a better person to have in my life forever. Take care of my bestie.

Love always,

The Best Friend

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
