In honor of Disney Channel's huge and highly anticipated airing of 51 of their original movies, here are 15 of Disney Channel's best original movies that will have you reminiscing on the good old days.

1. Cadet Kelly (2002)

Hilary Duff plays Kelly, a budding fashionista who enrolls in military school after her mother re-marries an army General and allows her free-spirit to shine through at her new school.


2. Halloweentown (1998)

Marnie (Kimberley J. Brown) discovers that she is a witch on her 13th birthday, and travels to Halloweentown to save a world of supernatural creatures. This four-film series continued on with Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge (2001), Halloweentown High (2004), and Return to Halloweentown (2006).


3. Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century (1999)

Zenon Kar (Kirsten Storms), a 13-year-old girl living in her outer space home, is sent to live down on earth with her Aunt after causing a ruckus on the space station. The trilogy also includes Zenon: The Zequel (2001) and Zenon: Z3 (2004).


4. The Color of Friendship (2000)

This DCOM was based on a true story about the unique friendship of Piper (a black girl from Washington D.C.) and Mahree (a white South-African native) who create a tight-knit bond in the the late 1970's.

5. Up, up, & Away (2000)

Scott Marshall is a young teen who comes from a family full of superheroes (Bronze Eagle, Warrior Woman, etc.) and is called to save the world, despite discovering his own superpowers.

6. Quints (2000)

Fourteen-year-old Jamie Grover's life is turned upside down when her mother gives birth to quintuplets.

7. Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire (2000)

One of Disney's Halloween classics, Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire is about a mysterious man named Dimitri who intrudes on the family dynamic. When the kids discover that he is a vampire, they have to save their mother from him.

8. The Ultimate Christmas Present (2000)

Allie grabs her best friend Sam (Brenda Song) to fool around with their new found weather-machine and they soon find out that the machine belongs to none other than, Santa Claus.


9. The Luck of the Irish (2001)

Kyle Johnson, a popular basketball player in junior high school, goes on a quest to find his lucky golden charm to stop his family and himself from being controlled by a leprechaun.


10. Get a Clue (2002)

Lexy Gold (Lindsay Lohan) is a rich fashionista residing in Manhattan that grabs her group of friends to solve a mysterious case when one of their favorite teachers goes missing.

11. Gotta Kick it Up (2002)

¡Si se Puede! A Latin school dance team gets new found inspiration from a new teacher, in time for a huge competition.


12. You Wish! (2003)

Alex, a high school football player, feels like his life is going wrong and is constantly living in the shadows of his little brother, Stevie. One day, Stevie receives a magic coin and Alex makes a wish and suddenly his little brother is missing and he has the life he's always dreamed of.

13. The Even Stevens Movie (2003)

The beloved Stevens family thought that they had won a luxurious pre-paid island vacation when in reality they are the stars of a new reality TV show called Family Fakeout.


14. Eddie's Million Dollar Cook-Off (2003)

Eddie, a baseball lover, tries to balance his passion for cooking alongside making his teammates and dad proud on the baseball field.

15. Full-Court Miracle (2003)

A Jewish basketball team receives hope, confidence, and inspiration from their new coach, an African-American college basketball star.

16. Pixel Perfect (2004)

Roscoe (Ricky Ullman), a 16 year-old computer genius, tries to help his friend Sam's band out when he creates a holographic pop star as their front woman. Little does Roscoe know of the problems that will soon begin.

17. Stuck in the Suburbs (2004)

Danielle Panabaker plays Brittany Aarons, a suburban teen who goes on a crazy adventure when Jordan Cahill, a pop sensation whose phone ends up in her possession.

18. Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama (2004)

Kim Possible, struggles to find the balance between love and saving the world in this follow up to A Stitch in Time.

19. Go Figure (2005)

A teenage figure skater has the hopes of becoming a champion but is also trying to keep up with her commitment to hockey.

20. The Proud Family (2005)

The Proud family goes on a family vacation where they are captured until Oscar Proud gives up the Proud Snacks secret formula.

21. Twitches (2005)

Two twin witches (Tia & Tamera Mowry), were separated at birth and are on a mission to rescue the world where their birth mother still resides. The sequel, Twitches Too, premiered in 2007.

22. Cow Belles (2006)

After starting a fire in their family home two spoiled sisters are forced to work at their father's dairy company as a way to learn about responsibility.


23. Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior (2006)

Wendy Wu, an American teenager, discovers that she is the reincarnation of a warrior and is destined to save the world after being visited by a monk.


24. Read It and Weep (2006)

Jamie (Kay Panabaker) develops an alter-ego through her writing when her secret diary/ journal gets discovered.

25. Lemonade Mouth (2011)

After all five of these high school students coincidentally end up in detention at the same time, they created a beautiful melody together and named their band after the lemonade machine in the basement of their high school.


26. Princess Protection Program (2009)

Princess Rosalinda (Demi Lovato) is sent to live in Louisiana with Joe Mason and his daughter Carter Mason (Selena Gomez) after her home country was invaded and has to adjust to the lifestyle of being an American teenager.

27. Camp Rock (2008)

Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato) attends a prestigious music summer camp because her mom is their new caterer and finds herself in trouble when she makes up a false identity about her mother and how she got into Camp Rock. Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam premiered two years later in 2010.

28. The Cheetah Girls (2003)

A teen quartet from a Manhattan performing arts school are discovered by famous music producer, Jackal Johnson, and proceed in the hopes of winning their local talent show. The Cheetah Girls 2 premiered in 2006, and The Cheetah Girls 3: One World premiered in 2008.


29. Let It Shine (2012)

A teenage rapper (Tyler James Williams) and preacher's kid uses his talents to impress Roxy (Coco Jones).


30. Jump In! (2007)

Corbin Blue plays Izzy Daniels, a boxer who has a hidden passion for double-dutching and has to sneak behind his father's back to work with the Hot Chili Steppers.


31. High School Musical (2006)

Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Hudgens) meet over winter break and end up going to the same school. Troy, a school basketball star, learns that he has a passion for the arts and falls in love with Gabriella in the process. The trilogy includes High School Musical 2 which premiered in 2007, and High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which premiered in 2008.

32. Life-Size (2000)

Casey Stuart (Lindsay Lohan) accidentally turns a doll to life when she tries to bring her mother back to life and goes on an adventure with Eve (Tyra Banks).

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time.
