Allow me to let you in on a little obsession of mine, I am insanely in love with Lilly Pulitzer. I am not ashamed of this obsession, instead I'm flaunt it whenever and wherever I can which is why this week is like Christmas for me. Twice a year Lilly is kind enough to to have a HUGE sale in which you can get all of your favorites for literally less than $100. Cool right? Yes, unless you’re like me and totally impatient and therefore by them before they go on sale. I saw a few of the dresses I have bought on sale today and almost had a heart attack at the price they are now going for.
Anywho any girl who’s like me and love anything colorful and printed will tell you that these twice a year sales are literally the best days of our lives, minus National Cannoli Day… That may just be me though. Sadly to say I wasn’t happy with the sale this year. Yes I was literally first in line and yes, I found 3 out of the 10 dresses I wanted but I was hoping for more merchandise. I suppose I should also realize that Lilly will also put out more stuff tomorrow but I had way much more fun shopping the sale last year. So in this case, let my TBT to last year and all the jitters I had shopping the sale.

You wait on line nervously hoping that all your dresses aren’t gone

YES the Lilly Gods have finally let you in, time to literally shop for you life.

Picking out dresses wondering which will be worn to boys bid day and sorority functions.

You have to have day dresses to wear to class, through some tshirt dresses in the cart.

Skirts for days people.

Anger at the chick who totally stole that adorable maxi out of your cart.

Happiness and shopping high at the fact that you got all you wanted and paid.

2 Weeks…. Later…. Jumping at the fact that your package finally arrived.

Good luck to all you Lilly lovers!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
