Beauty advice comes in many different forms, whether it be from Pinterest or your favorite magazines. My personal favorite destination for all beauty tips is blogs. Blogs have all the information you need on where to buy products, if there are cheaper dupes, and even tutorials if you're completely stuck and need assistance in your beauty routine. Here are some of the best blogs to follow when you're in need of a beauty fix!

1. ThisThatBeauty

ThisThatBeauty is a popular beauty blog run by Felicia Walker Benson, a self-proclaimed makeup junkie and Bergdorf's very own social media beauty editor. Her skincare tips and expert makeup advice are my favorites, but she also has fashion and lifestyle advice that she frequently posts.

2. The Beauty Look Book

This blog is by far my favorite destination when it comes to product reviews for middle and high end cosmetics. Blogger Sabrina also reviews swatches and has brutally honest personal thoughts on products she has tested. If you want to ensure the new expensive product you're buying is worth it, check this site out before buying!

3. She's in the Glow

She's in the Glow is the perfect blog for modern women who places value on the organic health aspect of their beauty routines. Annie, the founder of She's in the Glow, offers a wide variety of postings, from DIY smoothie face masks to the hottest products for organic skin care.

4. The Beauty Department

This blog, founded by Lauren Conrad, is by far my favorite destination for new and helpful beauty tips. All of their DIYs and tutorials have step-by-step pictures that are always helpful!

5. Beauty Banter

The mastermind behind Beauty Banter, Sarah Howard, is an Los Angeles-based beauty consultant who just happens to be Kim Kardashian's friend. My favorite part about her blog is her "Under $10" posts for effective and affordable beauty products!

6. Pucker & Pout

Any reality TV show junkie who watches "Vanderpump Rules" (if you don't, you should) has heard of Pucker & Pout. The site has a little bit of everything, from hair to DIY recipes to fashion, and all tutorials and reviews are perfectly suited for both seasoned blog veterans and newbies.

7. Into the Gloss

Into the gloss is not only a popular blog, but is also home to a small website with their own "Glossier" products. The site offers phenomenal reviews of products from a range of different prices as well as interviews with leading fashion designers and beauticians.

No matter if you've just started off on your beauty-blog journey or have been a religious follower of a certain site for years, these blogs are definitely worth the stop. They all offer a wide variety of different skill levels as well as different priced products. Many websites offer promotional deals on certain products that they feature as well, so keep an eye out for them! Here's to a wonderful start on your beauty blog journey.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
