Breakups. Nobody likes to go through them, let alone be on the receiving end of one. Breakups are challenging and can be really taxing on people. Our emotions can run wild and lead us on the longest rollercoaster ride of our lives. We can be "fine" one day and a wreck the next. Relationships are a lot of hard work and when you see that something just isn't working no matter how hard you try, it's time to end it.

Sometimes breakups are complicated and sometimes they're simple, but they are almost never easy. While breakups are hard, they can help us grow and we can use what we've learned from our past relationships to help us find new, better ones when the time is right. After a breakup, take time for yourself and don't immediately jump into another relationship. Give yourself time to heal and process. When you feel you are ready to give relationships another go, that's your decision! Remember how much you're worth. You can use this time to become more independent.

You can take time to focus on putting yourself and your needs first.

You can save your love and energy for someone who deserves it.
