College was fun, but I'm happy to be back.

The Best Parts Of Being Home

The year has drawn to an end and you've packed up your room, finished all your finals, and journeyed back home. Although it is sad to say goodbye to your school and the friends you have that you know you won't be seeing everyday anymore, going back home is a wonderful feeling.

1. The food

As much as we all love dining hall food (NOT), being home and eating home cooked meals is truly a blessing.


2. Own bed

If you're looking for me, I'm probably in my bed.


3. Having a car

If you were one of the unfortunate students who was not permitted a car on campus you probably appreciate the ability to be able to drive wherever you want whenever you want.


4. The showers

No shoes????? THANK GOD.


5. Free laundry

And everything is always clean. Thanks mom and dad!


6. Catching up with friends

So many stories to share... even though your home-friends probably don't know your school-friends.


7. Your family

You might already be sick of them, but it was nice while it lasted!


Ah home sweet home; happy to be back.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
