The semester is beginning. Instead of stressful thoughts, there is actually anticipation for the new classes. A new start is about to take place. The best thing about being a Type A is knowing that everything is crisp and new.
1. Planners
If you're a Type A, your planner never leaves your side. The best part of having your planner and it being a new semester? Being able to take that brand new syllabus and write every due date down from January to May and organize your days. It brings literal joy.
2. Pens
Who cares if we have 15,000 other pens neatly organized on our desk, the start of each new semester justifies buying those colorful new Sharpie pens that we don't need. There's something about opening a new package of pens that calms a Type A down.
3. Syllabi
Type A's love to receive a syllabus. To have every due date and grading scale in one place at one time brings relaxation. Those students who just throw them away and don't show those glorious pieces of papers any regards really irritate Type A's.
4. Books
New books. Crisp pages. The faint squeaking of a brand new book opening is music to our ears. Those newly printed words are just begging to be highlighted with our new pens. New books, new information.
Being a Type A is never easy. Constantly having to justify to others why we feel a certain way and continuously putting everything in its place. But we love those new semesters It's a clean, fresh start. I believe in you, fellow Type A's.
