Every day that I don't have work or school, I try to be productive in some way shape or form. For example, I like to get homework done, go to the gym and get in a really good workout, or maybe even knock out an entire season of "Grey's Anatomy" on Netflix. I truly believe that people who do not nap every week, or in my case, every day, just aren't even human.
But then at other times, I'm wired... I have so much energy I can't sit still so then I really want to go to the gym. It always goes something like this though:
"I'm going to run for at least 30 minutes. Then I think I'll do arms, maybe even legs too... You know what I'll even throw in some abs. I feel amazing this morning."
*Gets to the gym*

When I was in high school I played four different sports, being active was just part of my daily routine, but I would almost always be sleeping in class, or yawning during practice. It never failed that I would want to go out and do something on the weekends and need to take a good three hour nap before I went out, even if it was just to dinner and a movie.
I contradict myself on every level when it comes to deciding whether I want to go the gym/run, or take a nap. That in itself is exhausting, which in turn leads to me to leaning towards taking a nap.... see where I'm going with this. I have to be really set on being active, and sometimes I am. Recently I've been on this health kick, and I've really had the motivation to eat right and workout... But it's bound to wear off sooner or later.
Living in New York, I walk so much sometimes I just consider that my workout. I know my body is used to it so it's not REALLY counting for a good workout, but let's just not acknowledge that. Personally I think taking naps are essential, which is why I'm here writing an entire on article on being lazy....
Both working out and sleeping are completely necessary to everyone's life so I know I'm not alone in this world. My point of the whole matter is, I'm totally that super lazy girl that would be down to go to the gym with you, or even sign up for a 5k but there's just one string attached... And that would be that I can guarantee you I will be napping before and after every active thing we do. I like to consider it part of my charm. I'm down to nap for the seven days or run around Manhattan, your call.
