Being Proud of Who You Are

Your personality, your outlook of life, and your environment can all have different effects on how your life goes or turns out.

For some, life is complicated, and for others, life is actually pretty simple.

As I had mentioned previously, how one’s life turns out can be affected by various factors.

For some, life is so complicated that the only time they might feel a huge relief is when they go to bed at night.

Some might think that they are completely abnormal and weird; other’s opinions of them might further aggravate their thoughts.

Bits and pieces of their childhood, which should have been the simplest time of their lives, were taken and hidden from them.

They have been looking for those bits and pieces, and are probably still looking for them.

Part of me wants to keep looking until my life finishes.

Part of me wants to stop looking and relax for a bit.

The truth is, I’m working on letting go of the search – the search for something that might not even exist.

I am letting go of all that I have no control over.

I am working on just being confident in myself and in what I do.

After actually trying to make new friends by having random conversations with new people,

I can tell that some people really appreciate you being very friendly towards them.

Don’t be afraid of people, really.

Even though there are many with bad intentions, not everybody is like that.

Be strong and courageous.

If you are Type-Weird, and you are proud of that title, then own it.

Own it.

Be proud of who you are.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
