Every since I picked up the book "Twilight," I was captivated with the idea of reading. Soon my collection of books grew from four, to hundreds. My book shelves were so full of adventures that not everyone else could enjoy, and others haven't discovered yet. Being a book nerd wasn't something I ever saw myself coming, but I embrace it to the full now. It's awesome being a book nerd to be honest. I'm going to tell you why it is awesome to be a book nerd.
1. Reading the book before it hits theaters. Except when they get everything wrong, then you do not want to be with me in that theater.
2. We book nerds read so much, our vocabulary can be somewhat extensive.
3. We geek out about the simplest of stuff. *sniff*
5. Never interrupt us while we are reading, you'll learn, books always come first. Unless you are on fire, even then it better be third degree at the least.
6. We have our own personal library, so we can rent our books out. At a cost.
Give a book back to me damaged, I'll become your worst nightmare.
7. Never ask our favorite book.
8. We don't understand people that don't enjoy reading.
9. When we read something that gets us into our feels.
10. We feel emotional attachments when someone dies in our books. They are real to us.
11. Realizing that you like people in books more than real people.
12. We have big dreams.
13. Lastly, we have no money because we spend it all on books.
Book nerds are all different, but we all have one thing in common. Our love for books is unreal. Books transport us to a world that we couldn't imagine ourselves. Books have helped me through some tough times. If you haven't given books a chance, I highly suggest changing something in your life to make time for books.
Cheers! Enjoy
