I love experimenting with various beauty products from different brands, both high end and from the drug store. Experimenting helps me determine what I should spend my money on and what I shouldn't. I thought I would share my favorite beauty products in the month of March and give a short review about them. I hope everyone enjoys this beauty review and hopefully you guys will go out and by these products as well.

1. The Masquerade Palette by Juvia's Place

This palette retails for $35, but if you want to save some money you can get the mini version of the palette for $25. This palette is amazing because of its high pigment shadows and the various colors in the palette; allowing for a balance of bolds and neutrals. This palette can be used to make very bright eye looks, smokey eye looks, and everyday basic eye looks. There are a total of 16 shadows in the palette and each shade is inspired by African Festivities filled with enormous joy and spiritual activities. The bold colors represent costumes used in festivals, while the nude and browns represent the African soil and environments.

Row 1 (L to R): Chi, Mali, Dalia, Zola Row 2 (L to R): Makeda, Zobo, Calabar, Bori

Row 3 (L to R): Giza, Burkina, Cairo, Ada Row 4 (L to R): Dahia, Zulu, Casabianca, Fulani

2. L.A. Girl Pro Coverage Foundation

This foundation retails for $10 and offers various shades for every skin tone. This foundation is amazing because it is a full coverage foundation, it lasts for most of the day, and it's an illuminating foundation; which allows for your skin to have a natural glow.

3. NARS Blush

This blush retails for $30, but if you want to save a little bit of money on the product you can become a member of the Sephora rewards program which will give you discounts on various products in the store. There are 26 shades in this blush collection, which means there is a color for everyone and they all have a shimmer finish. My favorite blush shade is Goulue and it is a warm berry shade with gold shimmer.

4. Benefit They're Real Mascara

This mascara retails for $24 and is one out of many Benefit mascara products. This is my most used mascara because it provides length and volume to your lashes while still making them look natural.

5. Wet N Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick

This matte lipstick retails for $4.99 and offers 13 different shades of lipstick ranging from nudes to vampire reds. The reason I love this lipstick is because it is long lasting, it doesn't transfer on other surfaces, and its very smooth when applying it on the lips. My favorite shade is Give Me Mocha, which is the 6th shade of nudes and the reason I love this shade is because it's the perfect nude for my skin tone and it's a dark nude.

I hope you guys enjoyed this article and that you will purchase one or all of these products mentioned in my monthly beauty favorites.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
