Everyone here is their own individual person. Since you were born you were given a name that identifies you. Sure some others may have the same name as you and some may even have the same birthday as you. But you are still unique. One of a kind. You are the only you because what's inside you is what makes you. You.
As you get older you start school and meet all these other kids you've never seen before. Each one of them are all different and different from you.
The Teachers give you all the same assignments and expect you to all learn the same way. But you are all different and think differently than the others so you have to try and think the same.
Your in middle school now and soon all your classmates are changing. They are dressing different wearing all kinds of different hairstyles and hair colors some even start to wear makeup. There are different "groups" the preppy kids, the weird kids, the smart kids and so on. Which group do you fall under?? Either way kids will tell you you're supposed to be someone else. Someone will always try to change you. The biggest challenge in life is to be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you like everyone else.
Now you are in high school . The main four years that sculpt you. You have to decide what you will do after high school. What you plan to do for the rest of your life. You must be yourself at this time because the others won't be there after you get that diploma. What they want to do after high school probably isn't what will make you happy.
Be yourself and do what makes YOU happy not what makes others happy. That is something you CAN DO better than anyone else can. Listen to that inner voice and bravely follow it. Don't chase people, be you and do you. Work hard for the things you want in life.People will judge you and that's okay as long as you are being yourself and doing what makes you happy .
In the real world all your classmates won't matter anymore. They will go their own way and do things they want to do and you will go your way. Make sure that way is you doing what you love and that you are always yourself. when you walk across that stage make sure that you are true to yourself for the rest of your life. Never change for anyone .
