Anxiety is something that the majority of people struggle with. It affects everyone in different ways and can come no matter the circumstance. It is considered an actual medical crisis in the IDC 10. It can take place when you are very excited and can take effect when you are stressed.
It is not always even understood by the people who struggle with it. Just because you cannot see it does not mean it does not exist. It can not be found in your blood, but it is still 100% real and can hold you back from living your best life.
I just want to let you know that your struggle is valid, real, and understood by me. I get the pain of having to say no to invitations because you are too overwhelmed to handle them. I get the panic attacks that can take place at any time. I get the feeling that you have lost control of your life. I have been there, and remember it vividly.
There is hope that it will get better. There is hope that a normal existence will not just be a dream, but a reality. There is hope that it will not master your life, there is hope for you. There are people who you never would expect that it would affect, and that hide it well.
Really no one is perfect. I repeat no one. Just because someone's Instagram shows everything is all good, does not mean it is. The biggest flaw in our social media crazed society is that it only shows snapshots of your life. You can choose to show the best moments, but not show the moments that are difficult.
If you struggle with anxious thoughts or moments in your life there is hope for healing, treatments, and a normal life. There are people who get what you are going through, there are people who have been through it and came out on the other side. Your struggle is real and rough. You are loved, worthy, and are you so do not pretend to be anyone you are not.
