Tinder is a "social media"/dating app that connects to your Facebook and allows you to create a profile. It takes some information from your Facebook profile (photos and such) and finds you matches based off of common interests or connections.
Tinder has become one of the biggest apps for young adults, especially college students. I have seen a plethora of Tinder articles lately, so I had to make a Tinder to get a few articles in about my experience. I had Tinder for approximately a week before deleting the app. It was incredibly awkward to see a couple of my peers on there, but hey, that's life (at least the life we all know).
When I signed up, I put "tell me a joke" on my profile. I honestly didn't think anyone would send me a joke, but I was so wrong.
Here are all the jokes I got:
I felt this joke on a spiritual level.
Although I was expecting a lot of people to say this, I only got it once.
Although this was interesting, kinda creepy at the same time.
I have to be honest, when I read the first message I read "monkey" not "money", so I was expecting a much different reply. I laughed anyway.
Mix between a pickup line and a joke, I enjoyed it though.
Although I laughed so hard, I was pretty disappointed that I didn't get my knock-knock joke.
*Unmatches*
This was probably my favorite one, to be honest.
Although I wish I had gotten more jokes, I also had a few *really* awkward experiences that I felt needed to be included in this article:
Awkward experiences:
No, just no.
Oh thank you for telling me something you probably tell every girl on here.
Very direct, very forward. I did not like.
Should we?????
Why is this a thing? It's like 148303828 degrees in South Louisiana.
Desperate much?
Obviously not.
My one-week Tinder experience was one I'll never forget.
I can say that I've never gotten so many jokes in such a short amount of time. 10/10 recommend putting "tell me a joke" on your Tinder profile.
