Welcome back to campus Saints! You've made it through your first week of classes and hopefully have settled back into the place you belong. Maybe you're new here or a returning sophomore, junior or senior but either way there might be a few things you haven't done yet that you need to! These might be common knowledge to some people but others might not know these 25 fun and unique things St. Lawrence University has to offer:

1. Participate in peak weekend.

2. Eat at every theme dinner you can.

3. Attend at least one sporting event in each season.

4. Go to raft day.

5. Get a Price Chopper Advantage Card.

6. Live with someone you don't know.

7. Go to Pub 56 for dinner.

8. Skate on the outdoor rink.

9. Go to ACE events other than the concerts.

10. Definitely go abroad.

11. Splurge on a pub cookie.

12. Stuff your face with a Fatbag.

13. Go to 1844 with friends.

14. Dance at Java Barn.

15. Watch the play the PCA department puts on.

16. Flee to Canada for a weekend.

17. Attend to a hockey game at Clarkson.

18. Make friends with seniors and stay for senior week.

19. Don't be afraid to take a class pass / fail.

20. Take a CBL class.

21. Experience Titus.

22. Monday nights are $5 movies.

23. Ski at Whiteface.

24. Eat at the Bagelry.

25. Get a canoe from the canoe shack.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
