School is right around the corner and for some people it's already started. Personally, I love the beginning of the school year, because I get to show up to school in all of my new back to school clothes and I also get to see what everyone else is wearing now. It's probably my favorite thing about back to school, besides, you know, classes. Every person has a different take on school fashion whether its heels and a dress or norts and the biggest t-shirt you can find. Heres some inspiration for back to school clothing ideas!

Embroidery

Embroidered denim is all the rage right now. I keep seeing it in all sorts of magazines and I just think it's so cute. Most of the embroidery is darker colored florals which is perfect for fall. Lots of stores have them such as Forever 21, TopShop, ASOS, and Nordstrom!

Bomber Jackets

With fall on the rise the temperatures are dropping and it's about to start getting chilly and you know what that means. It's time for jackets! I'm a big fan of jackets because theres so many different types and every fall a new one seems to come into style. Last year it was the military jacket and this year I believe it's the bomber jacket. So many stores have these jackets in style and some even have ones with cute embroidery which are my favorite. Check this one out from ASOS!

Cutout Booties

Fall is peak season for cute boots. Tall boots, short boots, heeled boots, lace up boots, there are endless types of boots. This season my favorite style is cutout booties! Cutout booties are such an alternative take on a classic shoe so it spices up any outfit! I'm specifically obsessed with this one pair from Steve Madden!

Choker Necklaces

Choker necklaces are finally coming back into style. At first I was apprehensive about this but with all the different styles this trend is totally growing on me. I am super into the chokers with thick fabric pieces as opposed to the tight mesh ones. These accessories are also super affordable which makes them all the better! You can find them in so many different colors but I love this classic black one from ASOS!

Whatever you decide to wear on your first day of classes I hope everyone has a great school year!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
