Bachelorette of the Week: Leanna Latanision

Want to take this bachelorette on a date? Well, boys, you wouldn’t have to go far, because a nice romantic trip to Gordon's would be ideal for her! She loves beaches and warm weather, hates arrogance and bad hygiene, and might even show up to your first date wearing a groufit. Ladies and gentlemen, this week’s bachelorette -- Leanna Latanision!

Name: Leanna Latanision.

Year in School: Freshman.

Hometown: Edina, Minn.

Major: French and international business.

Sorority: Pi Beta Phi.

1.What would your ideal first date be? A dinner date for two at Gordon’s.

2. What is the best quality about yourself? It isn’t really a quality, but I can pull off a groutfit and I do frequently.

3. What do you think is the biggest turn off? Arrogance. It doesn’t matter how cute you are, if you are arrogant it kills whatever good features you may have. Also, bad hygiene -- yikes.

4. What song best describes you? “Dancing Queen,” by ABBA -- it’s a guilty pleasure song.

5. What’s your favorite kind of pizza? Well, pizza is my favorite food, so I’d say every kind.

6. What was the best concert you have ever been to? It’s a tie between Ty Dolla Sign and Hannah Montana.

7. Which TV show is your guilty pleasure? The one and only Grey’s Anatomy.

8. If you could date a celebrity who would it be? Zac Efron, but only because we have the same birthday, so if that’s not fate I don’t know what is.

9. Where would someone typically find you on a Friday night? “Rolling with the homies” -- yes, I did quote Clueless.

10. Would you rather live 100 years in the past or 100 years in the future? A hundred years in the future.

11. If you could live in any other state, where would you live? Definitely Florida, because I was born there and I love going to the beach!

12. Which is better -- Snapchat or texting? Texting, because it is personable and I haven’t perfected the art of the selfie, yet.

3. What would your dream job be? I’d love to be a food critic or work for the Peace Corps.

14. Any final words on being bachelorette of the week? I’m free on Valentine’s Day.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
