Each year I gear up to watch the "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette", arguably two of my favorite shows on television. To some it's corny, cheesy and fake, but to others (like die-hard fans such as myself) it’s an amazing show to see how people interact, date and compete to find love.

That being said, this season, featuring the blind-sided and broken-hearted JoJo from the previous "Bachelor" season, is one of the most competitive seasons yet. Of course, JoJo is a beautiful woman, there’s no denying that, but these men don’t just want her for her looks. Instead, they want to be the ones to mend her broken heart and show her how a man should treat a woman.

However, each contestant has a slightly different way of showing their love when it comes to competing against a handful of other men. Putting all of these bachelors under one roof and seeing them interact with both JoJo and each other showed America that there truly is five types of guys that we know all too well.

1. The Chad

Ah, yes. The Chad. This season, Chad Johnson gets his own genre. Why? Well because he’s Chad.

Truthfully, I think that there will always be a Chad in this world. Putting his good looks and extreme fitness aside, his bipolar, and quite shallow, personality beams right through. From constantly saying he was better than any other man in the house, to turning to physical threats and violence, Chad just became the typical aggressive type. Not only was it fearful for the men in the house, but also JoJo. None of us want to choose a guy that we don’t actually feel safe with. Am I right?

Although Chad sometimes showed his soft side (which was extremely rare), it wasn’t enough to hide that he is, in fact, the type of guy that puts himself before everything and everyone else.

Now, Chad Johnson wasn’t the only Chad to add to this category. JoJo’s ex-boyfriend was also named Chad. Chad Rookstool dated our lovely bachelorette before the Bachelor aired last season. What she described as a rollercoaster of a relationship seemed to have more lows than highs.

This is proven when Rookstool went to InTouch Weekly and gave an exclusive interview spreading several rumors and lies about JoJo, breaking her down when she was at her happiest.

Now, of course not all Chad’s in the world can fall under this category, but I hate to break it to you guys, these Chad’s are not making a good name for you.

2. The Sensitive Guy

Derek, Derek, Derek. Where do I begin? This season, contestant Derek topped the cake as the sensitive type and showed us that some men aren’t afraid to show their feelings (over and over again).

From moving out of Chad’s room because he felt endangered, to getting jealous every time JoJo went on a date (newsflash Derek, that’s what this show is all about) to complaining about “high school cliques” in the house, to then crying in the limo after being eliminated, Derek is our classic sensitive guy.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being sensitive, I mean what girl doesn't want a guy who’s in touch with his feelings? However, there is sometimes a line that I do feel can be crossed, where it just becomes too emotional or too much to handle. Derek sadly crossed this line several times on the show.

The most memorable moment of Derek’s sensitivity was his limo ride home after not being given a rose on a two-on-one date against Chase. The tears were expected and totally acceptable, however his exit speech was a little too much. While seen in the limo crying and talking to himself saying “I don’t cry, why am I crying?” many fans of the show have argued that seeing him tell himself to not cry was one of the most dramatic moments of the season.

Of course, we’ve all been through heartbreak before, but he did only go on two dates with her… Sorry Derek.

3. The Jock

*Hair flip.* Ah yes, Jordan Rodgers. The man who got the first impression rose, a group date rose and a one-on-one date rose is one of this seasons leading contestants. A former NFL player and brother of current NFL quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, Jordan is our oh so very typical jock.

Known for his excessive hair flip, confidence, smooth talk and slightly cocky personality, Jordan has shown us that even after high school (and even after retiring from the NFL) the jock still exists. Although he has become a crowd favorite, there are still some grey areas with Jordan that have been left unanswered.

After being questioned about his past relationship, Jordan’s answers didn't quite seem as genuine as they could have been, especially when answering “I’m not really thinking anything right now” when asked what was on his mind during such a vital conversation. However, that was not the only time this season that he has been put into question.

In the last few episodes several of the guys have hinted at the fact that they believe Jordan may not be on the show for all of the right reasons, claiming that he only wants fame. In fact, James Taylor, another fan favorite, personally brought it up to JoJo that Jordan has entitled-like tendencies.

This “not afraid to kiss JoJo in a room next-door to 10 other guys” contestant has signs of our classic jock. Always confident, always on top of his game and always doing what’s best for him, we’ll just have to see how far Jordan gets this season.

4. The Hopeless Romantic

Saying “I love you” first can be quite a scary feat, but contestant Robby Hayes did it with ease. The former competitive swimmer and best-dressed man vying for JoJo’s love, Robby openly describes himself as an emotional, hopeless romantic.

After sharing the story of the loss of his best friend and his choice to turn his life around, both JoJo and Bachelorette viewers got to see a deeper side of Robby. However, it was his speech to JoJo before admitting his love for her that really showed his vulnerable and true self.

Robby is our classic (and usually quite hard to find) hopeless romantic who isn't afraid to say what he feels (even when it’s saying “I love you” on their first one-on-one date). Not settling for anything less than true love, Robby is looking for a forever with JoJo, hoping to put a ring on her finger.

With only one date under his belt and only having known JoJo for several weeks, Robby shows that he is willing to hopelessly jump at the chance of love (even if it means only getting a “thank you” from JoJo as a response).

5. The Real-Life McDreamy

On Ben’s season of "The Bachelorette", JoJo made a peculiar, yet particularly adorable, the first impression when she came out of the limo with a unicorn mask on. This action was repeated, yet in a different way, for her this season.

Arriving on a unicorn (well a horse dressed as a unicorn) instead of a limo was Luke Pell. I mean is there anything else I have to say here? He arrived on a unicorn people. Not only is this war veteran extremely handsome, but his Tennessee and Texas background give him that country boy feel that, let’s admit, every girl can easily for.

Luke is the real-life McDreamy because of his ability to make JoJo feel alive and both safe and secure at the same time. The chemistry and passion between these two can actually be felt through the screen (no, seriously just watch them kiss, it’s pretty darn great).

With genuine class, respect for JoJo, a quiet confident attitude and country charm, Luke is the man that we all want to bring home to mom and dad.

Whether or not JoJo picks the Jock, the Hopeless Romantic, the Real-Life McDreamy or any other guy, fangirls like myself just want her to be happy (although we wish we were the ones giving the roses out and kissing really handsome men).

But on a serious note, when do we get to ride the unicorn? But seriously.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
