Like many other's across the globe, I have an important date with my couch and some ice cream every Monday at 8 p.m. for the sole purpose of watching "The Bachelorette." Though I get mocked by nearly every person I try to have a conversation with about it, no one can convince me enough that this show is not worth my time or energy. The drama, love stories and pure entertainment are enough to keep me coming back season after season. The 2016 "Bachelorette" season revolves around JoJo Fletcher, who was last seasons top runner that ultimately got sent home and left heartbroken by Ben Higgins. As a big JoJo fan from the get-go, I may have been even more heartbroken than her when this event happened. Luckily for me, and all the other JoJo fans, we knew what would be coming as a result of this defeat. ABC would be destined to feature her on the networks next season of "The Bachelorette," and sure enough, our hopes and dreams were fulfilled. As the show has hit the halfway point, I'd like to openly discuss the remaining candidates and their strengths and weaknesses based on what we've seen so far.

1. Luke

I put Luke as number one because ultimately I think he and JoJo have the best shot at finding love. Their chemistry is undeniable and Luke has an extremely easygoing personality, which I think is something JoJo is looking for. Not only does she want a husband, but someone who can provide her a sense of balance in her crazy, chaotic life as a newly-famous ABC star. Not to mention, JoJo has openly discussed time and time again how Luke's looks are nothing short of amazing.

2. Jordan

When Jordan first came on the show, everyone and their mother thought he was a catch. As a recently retired football star, viewers were in awe of his voluminous hair and his white smile. As the episodes have progressed, I think Jordan has come a long way with JoJo. I think his looks are starting to fade and his personality is beginning to shine through more and more. Even though he's open with her, I'm not sure if JoJo is a huge fan of his personality (we'll have to wait and see!)

3. Derek

This guy is the epitome of an all around great, nice guy that has an extremely open and welcoming vibe to him. He opened up with JoJo from the start, despite his shy personality but I think this ultimately has helped him in the long run. To be honest, I don't think he gets the attention he truly deserves. Derek seems like he could be a great guy for JoJo, if JoJo can give him the chance.

4. James

OK, so this is the type of guy you want as your lifelong BFF. James is hands-down the sweetest guy and makes JoJo know she's special every chance he gets. Though I thought he was a little too soft in the opening episodes, I realized he had a tough side when he got hurt during the football game and didn't even want to leave to get stitches, despite the nurse's request. I think if James shows that tough side a little more, he could have a great shot with JoJo.

5. Alex

I really liked Alex in the opening episode or two before the drama with Chad began. Once the Chad-induced drama set in, I couldn't help but notice that every time Alex got a chance with JoJo, he would sit and bash Chad. Trust me, I hate Chad, too, but if you're only bashing on other guys with the few moments you get alone with JoJo each week, I can't really see the relationship progressing much further.

6. Robby

He's a handsome guy, but I feel like he's hard to remember at the end of the episodes. He hasn't done anything significant that really catches you off guard or makes you think like he'd be a good match for JoJo. I'm waiting to see what progresses with JoJo finding out about Robby's ex-girlfriend (who he may or may not still be with) to really decide if Robby will be in the house much longer.

7. Evan

I think Evan is a great guy. He has kids and is pretty level-headed with all of the drama that has occurred in the house. Overall, I think Evan will be going home very soon, because I can't see him and JoJo having a lifelong relationship with one another. I think JoJo sees Evan as a good friend, or even a brother, but nowhere near a person she could ever fall in love with.

8. Chase

Chase comes off as an overall nice guy with a lot of potential. Like some of the other guys, I feel like I haven't heard a lot of his voice yet. I'm waiting for a really good one on one date with Chase and JoJo that ultimately gives her a glimpse into his true personality and gives her a reason to keep him around.

9. Wells

I thought this guy was the opposite of everything she would want, but she pursued him a lot in the beginning, which is the reason he's still around. Wells is a funny guy when he and JoJo are alone, but I feel like he gets very intimidated with the guys around him. When push comes to shove, I'm not sure how adamant he will be about making sure JoJo knows he's in it to win it.

10. Chad

Must I say more? I'm so happy this guy is gone.

So that's my take on this season, so far. Much more to unfold in the weeks to come as JoJo begins to really narrow it down in hopes of finding the man of her dreams. JoJo is definitely one of the Bachelorettes who deserves to find someone that makes her happy, especially with all she's been through in the previous season. #TeamJoJo

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
