Last weekend my roommates and I tried out a new wine place called Arizona Wine Collective. The wine bar had a really good deal for wine tasting which was only $12 and we were able to try out five different types of wine. I remember trying two types of red/ white and a rose. One of the red wines caught my attention right away. It was so smooth, dry, and an enjoyable taste. I ordered a cup of the red wine I really liked. When the night went on, more people came into the wine bar, laughing, smiling, and having a good time. I think that wine is a very relaxing type of drink because it is easy to enjoy, it relaxes me, de-stresses people, and there are so many types of wine you can try. I remember my time in Italy, wine is the only drink I had. It was low-key and peaceful. Arizona Wine Collective is a great place to explore different types of wines, having a wine night with roommates/friends, and or if you are in a romantic relationship, it is a nice place to go for a date. What is the purpose of cocktails when you can just enjoy a glass of wine with your friends?

I think that wine is special and it is meant for a relaxing, fun/enjoyable time with friends, family, or your significant other. The owners of Arizona Wine Collective are Pete and Jeanne Snell. Most importantly, they love exploring the world of wine. They've made it a hobby of tasting wines wherever they travel and go. When I went to Arizona Wine Collective, I did meet one of the owners which were Jeanne. She was a very nice woman and passionate about all the different types of Arizona wines. If you are a wine person and enjoy tasting different types of wine, I highly recommend trying out this place! The featured Arizona Wineries that Arizona Wine Collective sells is Dos Cabezas Wine Works, Pillsbury Wine Company, Golden Rule Vineyards, and many more! I have heard that wine does de-stress people and it has de-stressed my friends before as well. You may be wondering how? One night or weekend, you as the reader should take time for yourself and enjoy one glass of wine. In my life, I have learned the hard way about taking care of yourself. I do it a lot more and I am a happier person because I take time for myself. I can say that going to Arizona Wine Collective with my roommates was such a good memory because we had time for each other, made bonding part of the night, and keep getting to know each other better/ telling life updates. While my life is going on every day I do think about this great time I had with my roommates and how fun it was! I feel that my heart found this place because it is a peaceful/non-judgmental place to think freely and have fun with friends!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
