In lieu of midterm season, some avid studiers and college students have turned to the comforts of binge-watching reality TV in their free time to wind down and relax and remember that at least our lives are not as crazy as the people who light up our laptop screens.
We've got to give major applause to MTV for dishing out the best, more dramatic and entertaining reality TV shows to date. Are You The One? and The Real World have been so entertaining.
If you find yourselves in the same boat and are looking for a distraction, delve into the depths of drama and watch MTV's Are You The One? It's full of drama, cat fights, Tom catfights, tears, laughter, you name it. Season Four get's especially rowdy and entertaining to watch.
Some people like the Bachelor and the Bachelorette but it's worth noting that Are You The One? just packs a bigger punch. Even IMBD rates AYTO at a 6.9/10 compared to the Bachelor's lowly 2.9/10. You get attached to the TV stars more and their relationships with one another and start rooting for the couples, you so desperately hope are perfect matches (I'm still crying that Zak and Hannah weren't matches).
Even in the end after you finish up watching AYTO, you look up to see what couples are still together (and jump for joy when your faves are like Makala and Cameron *insert heart eyes and swooning*). AYTO gives the viewers more hope than the Bachelor does and it's entertaining along the way which is exactly what someone might need during this stressful part of the quarter.
Or if you're feeling really in the need for some straight up ratchet level of distraction, never forget MTV's original drama-rama, Jersey Shore. You can see what the cast is currently up to by reading this.
If you even want to go the extra mile and skip out completely on midterms, Are You The One? is currently casting for Season 5.
