At this time of the month, many individuals are worried about who will be their Valentine's Day Sweetheart. Valentine's Day is symbolic for love mostly celebrated by individuals who are in a romantic relationship, but friends and family members celebrate it as well. Whether you are single or not, you may still have a valentine. Today, I am currently writing for those who are in a romantic relationship. Men and Women tend to be lovable and sweet on valentines day yet they forget to do that all the other 164 days in the year.
I've witnessed a lot of friends and families in unhealthy relationships. I have seen their partners mistreat them for long periods of time and then go shopping and shower their partner with gifts, but the next day everything goes back to the normality with the mistreat. This is something everyone should become aware of; just because you buy gifts and beautiful diamond doesn't mean that the pain is going to wash away, it doesn't. This occurs with both men and women, I am not choosing a side.
Love is such a beautiful thing you should not be encountering pain at all. What is meant to be happens easily with no force and despite all the obstacles one face, destiny is leading the way to that person. Even if everyone hates you guys together or your mother hates him or her, if that is your man or woman that God prepared for you there is no way in hell that any devil will change that. So, if you are in an unhealthy relationship and you are one of those individuals who only show love on Valentine's day, then fix it or let it go. Don't just keep mistreating or being the one mistreat, speak up. As they all say, communication is key for a relationship of any form to function. While being at dinner on Valentine's Day or simply when you are spending time with your significant other, speak to them in ways you want to better the relationship and apologize with a sincere heart. On the other hand, if there is no fixture then leave before the roots have grown into the ground of the heart and rotten the entire organ.
Roses and chocolate are great, you know; nothing has to be over the top. If you can go above and beyond, by all means, do it! He or she will love it! Just remember even the smallest things are valuable don't get too blinded by the materialistic things because they will pass. I want all of you to be more sweethearts than nightmares. Honestly, if I had a nightmare I wouldn't even want to hear "Happy Valentines Day" from that person because it doesn't mean anything if the words don't match the actions, but I'm glad I don't have a nightmare.
Spread the love and make them feel special every moment they encounter you.
So are you a nightmare or a sweetheart?
