Warm weather, rain showers, blooming flowers and many more signs of spring are upon us, and with this change in season comes a change in pace of the lives of college students across the country.

When the weather is nice, people are happier and often want to spend their day outside on the Quad, soaking in the sun and fresh air with their friends.

As they break out their shorts and sandals, they can already taste the sweetness of summer.

Suddenly, this bliss is interrupted by the realization that there is only a month left of school.

And that final month will most likely resemble hell.

Because in those four short weeks, students come to the realization that they have six papers due.

Along with three group projects.

In addition to trying to find a summer job.

And squeeze in a workout, because the "summer bod" is nowhere near ready.

All of this is going on with the ever-present threat of finals looming over their heads.

And once finals are over, saying goodbye to friends–even just for the summer–won't be much easier.

So, in the month of April, tears will be shed.

Breakdowns will occur.

Sleep will be absent...

...and tempers will flare.

But April is the only thing standing between students and their summer, so they simply hold their heads high and take it one day at a time.
