Being a college student can be overwhelming and extremely stressful. We all know we should "write everything in our planner" so we can stay on top of assignments, but if you're anything like me (which means your probably have your iPhone in hand almost always), it can be easier to get distracted instead of prioritizing your schedule. Technology isn't going anywhere, so instead of trying (and failing) to be old-fashioned with a pen and paper, use technology as your friend to help you get your sh*t together.
These apps will allow you to better organize your life when it comes to school, health and your lifestyle in general (and better yet, they are all free)!
1. Evernote
This app is like having a digital notebook to type your class notes in, and it's better than using Microsoft Word or your Apple Notes app. Evernote lets you categorize different "notebooks" according to class subject, and even allows you to categorize smaller topics under each subject. Schedule to-do lists, clip articles directly to your "notebook" from various websites, and even add pictures to notes that you can take directly from your phone. Cramming on time for a presentation? Evernote even has a feature that transforms your notes into a presentation-mode format! Personally, I use this app for everything from typing up textbook term definitions, to creating weekly to-do lists; crossing off items on a list makes me feel more accomplished!

2. Google Drive (and Google Docs)
If you're in any group projects or involved in any campus organizations, Google Drive is the perfect app to have directly on your phone/iPad/tablet. Have easy access to important documents on your phone and shared documents for projects with other groups. The Google Doc app allows you to speed up work and make instant edits on your phone without waiting to find a computer. Bonus: Especially comes in handy when anxiously waiting for a sorority Google Doc to be posted (and when you need to have first priority on making a document edit)!
3. Canva
Canva is one of my absolute favorite apps for almost any type of design project. This app (and website) allows you to create and customize awesome graphics for anything from Facebook banners and promotional cover photos, to personal logos and creative flyers. This app is great for designing a logo for a project or resume, and even is a great tool to create your actual resume. This app works better on an iPad/tablet (or computer) than an iPhone, but its user-friendly design makes it easy to use even if you're not an art or design major.
4. Zomato
How many times do you find yourself starving and looking for a new place to eat out? Often, we spend more time deciding where to eat with our friends instead of actually eating at the place. This app helps you find the nearest restaurant/coffee house/smoothie shop, you name it, by the nearest distance. It's great because you can also search places to eat by food category. For example: craving a place to get the best hummus in town? Search "Greek" restaurants and you might find your new favorite grub spot. Not to mention, this app has built in reviews for each restaurant, so you can even check the quality of places too!
