Appreciate Your Body In Every Season

Your summer body is not the only body that matters.

Appreciate Your Body In Every Season

It is already hard enough seeing others who may have the perfect body that you want, but it is entirely okay if you are not there yet. Everyone's journey to their "perfect" body type is different. We all have a range of shapes, and sizes.

There is some trend that refers to having a "summer body," and people make it seem as though it is necessary and you HAVE to have a specific body for the summer. No, this is incorrect. Anybody that you are comfortable in IS your summer body. Do not let others perceptions influence you on how you should look. If you have a few rolls here and there embrace it if you have no butt or small boobs welcome it. This goes for the men as well. I cannot speak on many of the body insecurities you may have but know that my message is still for you.

You need to be able to love yourself in every form no matter what the season is. When it is cold outside, and you have sweats and a hoodie on embracing it, when it is hot, and you have on shorts and a tank to embrace it. YOU are what make the clothes that you have on.

It is so easy to suck yourself into a depressive state because your body is not where you want it to be. The only person that can change that is you, but you have to love your body now before any changes as well as after you make some differences in your appearance. As my last article stated, you will never be happy trying to live up to others standards if you can't even reach your own. The change starts with you so start NOW.

It is quite sad how we let others opinions/society have such a big impact on our lives. It's time we finally break this chain.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
