Here we go again with another addition to the apple family. Apple has been the leading technology company that has changed the lives of the modern generation. Due to the fact that many apple features are exclusive to Apple users, it heightens the competition between Android and Apple users. I have never really grew an interest in Androids because they are so complex. Do not get me wrong, the extra applications and other perks like controlling the data on the phone attributes to the growing sales. One of the advantages that Androids have are the extra storage you can add by inserting a memory card. However, the simple flow of an iPhone and iMessages won me over.
The newest addition to the Apple collection is the music they have included in the new software update. Now with a low cost of $9.99 or $14.99 you have a choice of a single or family plan. They also have a special with a little verification to prove you are in fact a student the monthly charge will diminish to $4.99. Apple Music has millions of songs to go through and is only a click away. As an individual with Middle Eastern background it is hard to stay up to date with the newest singers and have the most up to date playlist on my iPhone. With apple music they have music from all over the world.
Majority of the other music apps are very limited. Pandora was great ten years ago when it was one of the only music provider. Ten years after in 2003 iTunes was launched making it much more efficient since smart phones were not in demand as they are today. Then everyone jumped into using Spotify which definitely is used much more than Pandora today. Overall, the cost for Pandora is ultimately free but there are ads in between which can be removed with a monthly payment of $4.99. While Spotify holds a charge of $9.99.
Apple Music is growing in popularity because now there is no need for any downloading from the internet and uploading them on your phone. Or having multiple applications to resolve the need for different stations. At one point, I was using Pandora (free version) and Spotify while downloading mp3 from YouTube and syncing my iPhone to my PC.
Now I have created a playlist for every genre I listen to depending on the mood of the day. For those who are like me and listen to different genres during the day Apple Music is great for you. No more interruptions from breaks or ads. No more repetition in the playlist because that was the big problem I had with Pandora. It felt like I listened to the same five songs over and over again.
Apple is so confident in their product that they actually give their users a three-month free trial, the only thing needed is a credit card on file that way if you do not cancel after the trial they have a payment method. If you are the one who forgets until after the charges are already taken out in the settings, there is a tab you can choose to turn off auto pay which then I'm assuming they will ask for payment on a monthly basis. Try it out and I think you will enjoy it as much as me.
