New Products Announced at September Apple Event
Apple Incorporation

Every few months, Apple corporation as events where the CEO announces some of the new products that the company is coming out with. There was a special event that was held this past week in which Tim Cook, the current CEO of Apple Inc., announced the newest products that are going to be released in the upcoming months. I didn't watch the actual livestream of the event, but I looked at some of the new products that were announced and I do have a few things to say about them.

iPhone 7

I have heard rumors about Apple releasing another iPhone, but I didn't know what was going to be different. In the past few years, there have only been minor changes to the recent iPhones, which makes me feel like they are all the same thing. The iPhone 7 has a new and advanced camera that will enable the phone user to take better pictures than ever before. You can also use the camera to shoot 4K quality videos that will make the video appear like they belong in a movie theater. With image stabilization, a new front-facing camera, and a six-element lens, a person can take good quality photos and videos in any situation. Another new update is that the iPhone is more water resistant and the home button has a new design. The only down side of the new iPhone 7 is that they got rid of the earbud jack and replaced it with new speakers. I know that I won't be buying this new phone because I have been a Samsung Galaxy person for almost five years and I have never been disappointed with my phone choice. I know that a lot of people are going to be waiting in anticipation as they pre-order the new iPhone 7, starting from September 9th.

Apple Watch Series 2

Last year, when the Apple Watch came out, I wasn't really impressed with it because I honestly thought it was just a small iPhone on a wrist. A person can pretty much do the same thing they can do on their iPhone, but they are able to do it on their wrist. The new series of Apple watches shows that a person can do new things that they couldn't do before if they had the old Apple Watch. The biggest improvement is that it is more water resistant so that way a person doesn't have to take it off just because they're going swimming or they're walking in the rain. It has a all new built in GPS, a heart rate sensor and a new comprehensive workout app. This is really made for all of the people that are try their hardest to stay fit and they need the right equipment to keep track of their progress. The Apple Watch still has the features that were offered on the previous Apple Watch, but it seems that the company decided to add on a few new features that people will enjoy more.

Air Pods

Listening to music is something that most people like to do on a daily basis and we need the right devices to do so. I'm not just talking about the actual phone or music player, I'm also talking about having the right earbuds/headphones. Apple decided to get rid of the earbud jack on the new iPhone so it would be appropriate enough to announce Air Pods. Ear buds that are basically cordless, wireless and they can be connected to any iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad or Mac. Since they are now cordless, this means that it is part of the design that they require power for them to actually work. When the power runs out, then it's time for the user to charge them and the Air Pods comes with a portable charging case. After one charge, the Air Pods deliver 5 hours of enjoyment and if you charge them for 15 minutes, they will provide you with 3 hours of enjoyment. I personally like to have my earbuds with cords just so I know that they are fully connected to my iPod.

Overall, Apple continues to create new products for people to enjoy throughout time and they have been doing so since the beginning. My personal opinion is that I'm not a big fan of the iPhones because I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 that I am happy to use. I do like to use the iPod when it comes to listening to music and I also have my own Macbook Pro that I love to use on a daily basis. Speaking of which, I really would love it if they did create a new Macbook Pro in the future, even though I am happy with the one that I have already. Consumers will see how the new Apple products will work out when customers go out to buy them when they are released into the market.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
