The Most Annoying Things About Working At McDonald's
McDonald's

I have worked at McDonald's for about two years, and I can not tell you how annoying it can be. Working fast food has helped me become a patient, friendly person, even on my worst days.

1. Asking for salt-free fries is the most ANNOYING thing EVER.

We have to clean out our fry holder with napkins and wash the salt soaked scoop to make your salt free fry. There is a special place in Hell if you ask for salt at the window as well. It would be much better to just ask for fresh fries.

2. If you are rude to us, we have our ways of revenge.

Yes, we are required to be nice to your face, however, we may skimp on your fries or give you the least amount of ice-cream toppings that we can get away with.

3. If you are nice to us, we will reward you greatly.

You may find extra ice cream toppings on your ice cream, coupons in your bag, and extra sauce. We appreciate nice customers, especially on our bad days.

4. There is no reason to yell at the front counter person for your food being made wrong.

Yes, I understand that you're frustrated, but I promise the front counter person did not ask for it to be made wrong. Chill out.

5. Do not get nasty with me when I ask you to pull forward so I can hand the people behind you their food - especially when you have a huge order.

Who comes through drive-thru and orders 20 sandwiches and expects it to be ready in one minute, 30 seconds? Chill out and be patient and appreciate your fresh food.

6. There's a special place in Hell for people who pay in ALL coins.

You do realize that I have to count that all, right? Then I get in trouble for not having it counted quick enough. Here's a secret, Sometimes we eyeball it.

7. DO NOT order a meal, and then say you don't want fries and a drink.

All you are doing is wasting my time by not knowing how to order your damn food.

8. "I have two separate orders" is our least favorite thing to hear.

It's even more annoying when one complete order is ONE DRINK. So your friend can't lend you $1.07? Lord help us all...

9. When people come through drive-thru with a broken window.

Yes, we are judging you. Please stop being so lazy. You make yourself look dumb.

10. People who talk on their phone while in drive-thru and ignore the person in the window also have a special place in hell.

I'm sorry to interrupt your phone conversation by serving you. Believe me, I don't want to deal with you either.

11. Going into the freezer sucks.

We always feel sorry for people who have to go get fries.. However, it is a nice escape to scream or sneak in a text.

12. The grease smell never leaves your uniform.

Nothing is worse than the stale grease smell.

13. People who come through five minutes before close with a monster order also have a place in Hell.

We are trying to get our stuff done so we can go home. We have to dirty more dishes for your selfishness.

These are just a few of the most annoying aspects of working at McDonald's.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
