How many times have you woken up in the morning and thought, "This is the day I'm not going to wear sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt to class"? And yet, somehow, you still end up sitting in history class with the same shirt you wore yesterday and the messy bun you slept in. Why not change that by making your New Year's resolution a promise to actually put a little bit of effort into dressing nicely? And take some inspiration from the stylish guys!

1. Trotterpup

Trotterpup is perhaps one of the most stylish animals on Instagram. I'm pretty sure his wardrobe is bigger than mine.

2. Rosie

Normally all-plaid outfits are a big no-no, but Rosie is definitely working it.

3. These Aussie ducks

The best part about this picture is that these ducks are actually a part of a fashion show in Sydney, Australia. The Pied Piper Duck Fashion Show to be exact.

4. Anthony

The only thing missing from this outfit is a classy cigar.

5. Jill the Squirrel

Jill the squirrel is definitely inspiration for the next ugly Christmas sweater party.

6. Lulu

I haven't worn a feather boa since I was 5 years old, but Lulu makes me think it might be time to bring the boa back out again.

7. This sassy llama

This llama has a very distinctive style that I don't think would work on everyone. But hey, if you can pull it off, go for it!

8. Prissy and Pop

Switch Alabama to WKU and you've got a great tailgating outfit.

9. Fuzzberta

Fuzzberta wins two prizes: best dressed and best name.

10. Bing and Swarley

If I had a boyfriend, I would definitely buy him that shirt.

11. Maya

I wish my friends and I could look this stylish when we're together.

12. Snazzy Sloth

Yago Partal, the Spanish artist who took this picture, is probably a really stylish guy, too. Especially if he dresses a sloth this well.

13. Punk Monkey

Okay, so this isn't really my type of style, but I have so much respect for all those piercings. Can you imagine the pain?

So it might be a bit of a stretch to dress up this nice for class, but maybe we could try to switch the baggy sweatshirt to a form fitting shirt every once in a while. Let's be honest, though, I'll probably be ringing in the new year with last night's ponytail.
