Between the place of both faith and fear
Machines among animals we are
The body is nothing but a house of the rotting sphere
The cloning of man has gone too far
Rip the heads from the birds
To kill a mockingbird
Actions are as useless as their words
Each inherent breath, a birth absurd

"All human toil is for the mouth,
yet the appetite is not satisfied" (Ecclesiastes 6:7)


A bite I take from you
The body is broken for the lame and few
We spirits to mock thee earth
Forgo this kingdom of our birth

"One's eyes see sleep neither day nor night" (Ecclesiastes 8:16)

These images bestowed elate my sight

The force of things unknown
Feels the same as things controlled
Beside the dying fire we pray
For better angels to guide us through the days gone by
Fallen leadership at the hands of the suicide king
A memento of freedom casts its final ring
Salvation born from abstract slavery
The day the rapture declared eternity

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
