To my Little,
By the time you’re reading this you will already know who I am and that is what I’m most excited about! You are basically my mini-me and sometimes I can’t tell if that’s scary or a really good thing but all I know is that I’m so honored to be your Big Sister.
This being the case, it is my job to be the best role model for you that I can possibly be and to make sure I show you what it really means to be a Greek woman and the standards that we uphold. I promise that I will be there for you through any tough times and joyous times that you come to face throughout the rest of your life. There is the cliché that, “Being Greek isn’t just for four years, it’s for life.”
Well. yes, it’s kinda corny but still very true. You chose me to be your Big for a reason and I definitely made it known that I wanted you as my Little and now I’m going to make sure people know that I have the best Little sister ever because let's be honest, you’re total awesome sauce. I’m sorry I had to lie to your face for however many long days it was until you found out who I was.
Let's be honest, though, I think it would’ve taken the fun out of being surprised on reveal day if I had let you know who I was. I promise to spoil you not only with attention and all the gifts I can possibly find for you but to spoil you with the gratitude that I have for you choosing to run home to us on Bid Day. I will make sure that I live up to the standards and values that you thought you could align yourself with when you met all of our sisters. I want to show you all the doors being a Greek woman opens for you and the amazing opportunities and people that you will encounter in your life. While I can’t to have fun this year and have memorable days and nights of hanging outgrowing closer to you and learning more about what makes you well you I want you to do well in your classes. Even on the days when you're discouraged and you don’t quite want to go to Professor BlahBlah’s class I will be the one to encourage you to go. When you have days that might not be so great and you think that no one loves you I will always be right here by your side to make sure you know that you, in fact, are loved. I promise to never judge you and sorry not sorry but I will laugh when you’re acting goofy but I expect the same.
Now with all this being said, let's take this year by storm being the dynamic Biggie/Smalls duo that we are and show everybody what we’re made of!
