Never heard of Tyler Haney? Well grab a cup of coffee and get cozy. This 27 year old started out just like the rest of us, and she's doing a whole lot to change the game of working out and staying healthy.

Tyler Haney grew up in Boulder, playing sports and enjoying physical activity in her youth. Today, Haney is the founder and CEO of Outdoor Voices, a recreational brand created simply for getting out and, as their slogan states it, #DoingThings. Outdoor Voices is more than just a clothing line made for running on the treadmill. The brilliance and motto behind OV makes you want to get outside, enjoy the fresh hair, and find your happy space. Unlike other huge brands designed for exercise, the message Haney delivers steers far away from competition and rather doing what you love because it makes you feel alive.

This simple message of #DoingThings is completely moving for our generation. Society has allowed us to constantly be in comparison of the lives and bodies of others, some we don’t even know further beyond their Instagram posts. We are constantly competing with one another to be down with the healthiest food trends, or which one of us goes to the most CycleBar classes in a week. Why can’t we take one from Tyler Haney’s book and get outside, go for a walk with friends, and do things because we genuinely want to do them for our minds and bodies? Haney inspires the followers of OV not to stress the calories you're burning, but just to do what you want because it feels amazing and it is unique to you and your body.

On the business side of things, Haney has made the American Dream a complete reality. When she first came up with the idea of Outdoor Voices, a few core pieces made up her collection for the clothing line. Investors thought she was a complete joke and that her business wouldn't make it. Despite the doubt and predictions of failure that many brought her way, Haney continued to follow her instincts and her passion. Her billion dollar business is now booming, and she had no connections to help her get to where she is. Haney worked her way up to show those who doubted her that a woman with passion and drive truly can't be stopped.

From being a regular gal to making big, Tyler Haney takes it back to simpler methods of health and happiness; something our culture needs a little more of.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
