Due to the highly promoted and therefore highly anticipated show 'American Horror Story', producers left fans on their toes by not hinting at the theme for season six of the show, hence the title "?6".CE Being left in the dark about this season's theme left fans dying to know. It also increased the expectations of horror, mystery, and character development of the returning actors from past seasons.

Being a fan myself, I have waited long enough to see what this new season was about. Let's just say that based off of the first episode, not all my expectations were met. These expectations include but are not limited to the existing themes of horror (major key), gore, mystery, and jump scares. Now I am a person who lives for anything horror related, so my expectations were pretty high. So yes, there was horror included in season six episode one; that is, if you count the word 'horror' in the title, and one or two jump scares here and there. Was there mystery? Sure, you could say that there is some mystery by questioning who (or what) it is] creating this seemingly paranormal activity, but the one non-mysterious part taken from this episode is that the main characters did not die. How do I know this? Because they are alive to tell their stories. So, I'll give the producers the benefit of the doubt for trying.

As for the gore factor, so far I have not seen much. Sure, there was a human pig-like creature that seemed to be covered in blood and another actual pig that was delivered to Shelby and Matt's doorstep (perhaps as a paranormal housewarming gift to use for bacon the next morning?). Not to mention bloody pilgrim-like folk who crowded around Shelby seemingly out for more blood. Although so far, I am not impressed.

So to 'American Horror Story' directors and producers, I have not given up hope yet. As I said, I am still giving you the benefit of the doubt since I have greatly enjoyed your previous seasons and, as a fan, I am patiently waiting for more. Perhaps it was just slow at the start like the first 20 minutes of all horror films before the real action kicks in, so the rest of the 'American Horror Story' fans and I will be patiently waiting for next week's episode in hopes for a more scare-inducing experience... until Wednesday night?6

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
