As many may have noticed by now, scrolling through any newsfeed nowadays might be the most stressful and anxiety-inducing thing you do all day. Not just our new administration, but the world seems to be a low point, or is it? Contrary to your stressful newsfeed, a lot of really cool amazing stuff is going on in the world! Today, don't worry your mind trying to read anxiety-inducing articles about problems that seem to far out of your reach to change, but in the spirit of positivity, here is a ton of amazing stuff that's happening every single day:

People are falling in love!

There are an estimated 30,000 people who fall in love every single day! How cool is that? Despite all of the turmoil and disarray, there are still people who choose to have love in their life every single day.

Animals are being saved!

A little less than 7,400 animals are being adopted from shelters and placed in safe and loving homes every single day! Image 7,400 cute little animals getting to go home to awesome new parents and not having to stay in shelters or on the street anymore! Animals being saved is such a wonderful reason to smile today!

People are getting new jobs!

According to some statistics, almost 110,000 people change their jobs every day across the globe, which means that people are most likely finding new passions and pursuing them in careers are more fulfilling and satisfying to their lives! If they can do it, why can't you!

Babies are being born!

Babies are inarguably the future, and according to estimates, we are getting about 535,000 new futures every single day! Isn't it cool to think that some of those may grow up to become the next Steve Jobs or Barack Obama or Malala Yousafzai? You never know who might be being born right now...

Women are gaining educational equality all over the world!

Not only are the direct effects of educating women all of the world pretty cool, like decreasing worldwide illiteracy rates and promoting gender equality, but educating women has a ton of other awesome benefits as well! Such as promoting economic growth, promoting small business growth, saving lives, leading to healthier, happier families, decreasing the prevalence of illnesses such as HIV, AIDS, and Malaria in third world countries. Now isn't that the best thing you've heard all day?

So if you're curled up in a ball of anxiety like I am sometimes after the watching or reading or writing about the news, just remember that the world is still a good place. People are choosing to love, to follow their passions and to create equality even in the face of adversity that seems to plague our entire planet at times. Join me in focusing on all of the wonderful, ground-breaking things happening all around us every single day, and most importantly, contribute to the positivity and uplifting spirit that can keep you going even in the roughest of times!
