Fall is here and so is game day, the day strictly designated for praising Nick Saban and the love of football. Other than the multiple touchdowns made every game, this SEC school has multiple traditions, big and small, that makes gameday so special. Here are the occurrences that make game day a true Dixieland delight.

Here in Tuscaloosa, the party starts way before kickoff. Alabama's Campus prepares for the legendary tailgate every home game days before. Beside individual tailgates at the president's mansion and Greek life homes, the quad is decorated with hundreds of red and white tents filled with prideful fans and good barbecue with an aroma that coats the air for miles.

UA's marching band has filled the Alabama air since 1912. Not only is the largest student organization on campus, but the biggest crowd pleaser on game day. You might find these members playing school favorites or leading the stadium in "Yea Alabama" every time the team makes an infamous touchdown.

Gameday Accessories

Other than OTBS being the next Jimmy Choos, Gameday accessories are a must! On the row or in the stands, you will see Gameday pins, decorative fans, and the see-through couture bags. Besides the finest polo dress shirts and chic boutique dresses, Gameday is quite the celebratory event that everyone enjoys and is proud to be a part of.

Joy Ride At Your Service

If you're not interested in filling your Apple Watch active rings, Joy Ride is your only source of transportation on campus during gameday. It might not be a five-star convertible, but it will get you from the farthest tailgate to a front row seat in Bryant Denny and not be a minute late!

Prideful Alumni

Other than the 40,000 students on campus, the stands and on campus are filled with the individuals who have been touch by the UA charm. Pride in the Alabama air is contagious and truly makes up this campus's strong support system.

Last but not Least..... The Crimson Tide!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
