I struggle with this. Day in and day out, I question his love. And then I realize – if I'm questioning affection, then love isn't present. It's as simple as that.

Similarly, it's simple to see whether he loves you are not. Your #couplegoals relationship may seem picture-perfect on Instagram feeds, but, in reality, where does he stand? How does he feel?

Below are 15 ways to witness his adoration for you:

1. Pictures

Similarly related to body language, but in still form – a picture in time. Is he holding you? Is he looking at you? Can you tell you're even a couple? Is he holding you loosely, maybe even too loosely? Are you leaning in while he opposes? You get the point.

2. Sentiment

Does he know YOU? What you like. What you find funny. What you hate. What you want, need, think about.

Maybe you two have an inside joke. At the end of the day, is he sentimental? Does he send sweet texts throughout the day reminding you how much you mean to him? Does he stick post-it notes on the fridge before you leave? Does he send you memes that remind him of you?

3. Eyes

Eye contact is everything! Have you ever caught him gazing at you from afar or while you cuddle on the couch? Notice where his eyes are when you speak to him. The eyes reveal what the soul is craving.

4. Security and trust

Do you trust him? Do you feel secure around him? If you have a doubt in your mind, this may be your gut nudging you to come to terms with reality.

5. Oddities

That ugly laugh... he adores it. The way you pull your hair back before devouring a plate of food. The way you grunt when you want something.

6. Demeanor and body language

Observe the direction of his body when you're sitting next to one another, talking, laughing, and even crying.

7. Activities

I'll be frank with you: If he is ONLY having sex with you, he's not in love.

8. Comfort

When in love, my germs are your germs. You know what they say: "Sharing is caring."

9. Fight

He will fight for you. When someone loves you, they don't want to lose you. They will do anything to see you, talk to you, and be with you.

10. You and nobody else

When in love, you and your partner are in the spotlight; nonetheless, the audience doesn't matter. Your boyfriend won't care about the gossip, the rumors, the whispers, he will only care about how he feels about you – not about the likes on social media!

11. Proud

If he loves you, he will proudly talk about your accomplishments and your amazing capabilities. His friends and family will know.

12. Passion

A fiery relationship reveals the sentiments that flow from one individual to another.

13. Sleeping positions

Sleeping positions exhibit more than one would realize. Read "What Your Sleep Position Reveals About Your Relationship" for specifics.

14. Understanding

Giphy

He takes the time to listen to your hardships, your good days, your bad days, your dilemmas, and everything in between.

15. Laughter

If he is genuinely laughing, then he is clearly enjoying your company. He's not with you just for the Instagram likes and heart emoji comments.

But... most importantly, do you love him?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
