Exam season is rough, and not just because everyone has lost their will to continue their education in the face of deadlines, tests, and papers. No, for the winter exam season, it seems as if all odds are against students. Not only do we have to prepare for tests, but it's getting colder outside, and nobody wants to go to the library when you can stay inside and watch Netflix from the comfort of a warm, cozy bed. Not to mention it's getting darker earlier, which only makes it easier to convince yourself that there's nothing wrong with skipping the reading and going to bed at 7:30 p.m. It's already dark out after all! But nothing makes the winter exam season more painful than the fact that it's almost Christmas and, let's face it, it's hard to focus on anything with visions of sugar plums dancing in your head!

If you're one of those people who struggles to make it through finals week simply because you can't wait to get home and celebrate the holidays, these advent calendars may be just what you need to keep your spirits up as you count down the days until you're finally free.

Even if you're "not a Christmas person," these calendars have something to offer for the student in all of us because, let's face it, we all need a little Christmas.
