Over the last year and a half, since moving to South Carolina, Coligny beach has become my safe place. Moving so far away from home, I found that I needed a secure place to release my feelings. When your closest friends and family seem so far away, and phone call just won't do it, this is the perfect spot. When life gets to be too much, and I need a breather, this is where I go. I give myself time and space to just sit and relax, think my thoughts without judgement. Finding a safe place has allowed me to be more honest, more vulnerable, and more real with myself. This beach is so very special to me and holds so many beautiful, everlasting memories.
No, you don't need to go to Coligny beach in order to feel safe. But I do advise you to find a safe spot where you feel secure. It is important to release our feelings and emotions. Keeping them inside can make us feel stressed, anxious, and more. Sometimes (not always), releasing them to a person can cause issues in the relationship.
