Any hardcore millennial will remember the summer this quintessential summer movie was released. "High School Musical 2" had every elementary and middle schooler daydreaming about high school, a magical land where breaking into song and dance on the last day of school would no longer be weird. A place where all of our friends would spend the entire summer together, singing and dancing some more. A place where there's always more romance. Most importantly, a place where everything that needed to be done could be completed in a neat little three-minute musical number.

Of course, it's in the name. The characters in Disney's beloved crowning accomplishment are high school students. But it's undeniable that college students relate to some of the scenes from this movie in a whole other way when it comes to summer.

1. When you leave your last final.

This scene is about right. You and your friends are practically singing and dancing as you leave that last final, headed to the beach or home. You've got some time, and you can't wait to kill it with your favorite people.

2. When you realize your friends don't live nearby.

Never mind spending every minute together when you live hours apart...

3. When you head off to do whatever you're doing this summer.

You have to leave even your hometown friends and family behind to do your own thing, and you feel just like Gabriella as she goes her own way.

4. When you're deciding where to spend that summer money to maximize your summer (and fall) enjoyment.

Just like Troy, you're conflicted. Do you buy food or subsist on pasta all summer so that you can afford to go to that concert? What's the right alternative here?

5. When you see the amount of unpacking and packing that needs to be done.

There are just so many boxes and, especially if you're not spending your summer at home, that means there's a lot to be done.

6. When you finally hit the pool with your friends and summer is...

Because really, that's what you wanted all along.

7. When someone asks you to play corn hole.

You weren't great at tailgates, how can they really think you'll be better playing on the beach?

8. When someone asks what you're "doing" this summer.

Even if you're doing something awesome, this question always feels a little bit like an on the spot interview, and you never feel adequately prepared.

9. When you decide to just take it as it comes.

If it's going to be a rollercoaster, you might as well hop on, right?

Summer 2018 is sure to be one for the books. So go watch HSM2 again, and have fun with it!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
