9 Things We Need To Know About Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life
Hello Giggles

I don't think that there is a person on the planet who isn't ecstatic about the new Gilmore Girls 90-minute episodes. These 4 new episodes are the main attraction to Netflix's lineup this November and is has everyone buzzing about who is in it, what will happen, and how will it end. Although there have been many rumors about the newest addition to Netflix, there has not been a lot of concrete information given to us. So here are a few things this Gilmore Girls fanatic has been wondering ever since the revival was confirmed and production began.

1. How will they explain Richard Gilmore's departure on the show?

Unfortunately Edward Herrmann lost his life in 2014 after a battle with brain cancer. It is probably safe to say that Richard will have passed away, but we all want to know how he passed and how it is effecting the Gilmore Girls.

2. What is Rory doing now?

It's been a while since Rory graduated and got a job following Barack Obama on his campaign trail. But after the campaign ended, what did she decide to do afterwards? Is she still writing? Or teaching journalism? Or could she possibly be the new Christiane Amanour? I guess we will have to find out.

3. What's going on with Lorelai and Luke?

Everyone was super excited to see that the finale of Gilmore Girls ended well for one of our favorite couples from the show. But what's going on now? Many are speculating that the pair is now married, or at the very least engaged. But what else has gone on between them? Any spats with Christopher? Perhaps Lorelai and Luke had a child! Until the new mini-series comes out, we will just have to dream about it.

4. What is Emily up to?

With Richard gone and possibly no income, what has become of our Grandma Gilmore? This tragedy is absolutely one that turned her whole world upside down. Because of her love for Richard, it is not likely that she has moved on to another man. However, she was dating another man while she and Richard were separated in season 5. Maybe she has gone back to him.

5. What happened with Lane and Zack?

Lane having twins with Zack definitely put a hold on their music career. But did the band ever get back together, or is Lane still waiting tables at Luke's? And... What do their baby boys look like?

6. Are Sookie and Jackson as still wacky as always?

Enough said.

7. Is Taylor still the town selectman?

Taylor's crazy antics and town hall meetings were some of the high points of the certain episodes. Let's hope he is in the revival.

8. What job is Kirk up to this time?

Goofy, unpredictable and always entertaining. Kirk was not a main part of the show, but everyone was always in tears when he pulled one of his shenanigans or working one of his crazy jobs.

9. Who will Rory end up with?

This is definitely the BIGGEST question of the revival. Between her first love, her bad boy and her college sweetheart, there is obviously going to be a competition for Rory's heart. But who know! They might throw in a new guy just to toy with us. But the question still remains, which stud will win Rory over in the end?

Thankfully next month our minds can be at ease and our suspicions and all rumors can be confirmed. November 25th cannot come fast enough.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
