1. Nail Clippers
Forgetting to bring nail clippers was a huge mistake, I've had to borrow my friend Kelly's nail clippers for the past three weeks.
2. Coffee Maker
I've used far too many meal swipes at Starbucks, I really just want to wake up and have my hot venti chai tea latte with almond milk and two shots of espresso as soon as I wake up! Is that so much to ask for??
3. Water Pitcher
I've had to use the gross water from the bathroom sink and my neighbor's Brita. Not cute.
4. Posters
My dorm room wall feels like a bad minimalist art exhibit at MoMA.
5. More Winter Coats
I brought my favorite overcoat but every morning here it's actually freezing, so you will catch me wearing the exact same coat to all my 8:30am classes. But then it ends up being like 70 degrees out by 2:00pm, so you will catch me in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt.
6. Necklaces
For some reason I brought my bracelets and my rings but I didn't bring any necklaces with me and it may seem petty, but last night I wore a t-shirt dress and like I was looking cute, but my neck was feeling a little bare.
7. Lactose Free Milk
Since I'm lactose intolerant I can only drink like almond milk and stuff, but I just zoned out and didn't bring it! I've been slowly killing my body with dairy and I'm not thriving. "Why not just stop drinking milk?" you ask?? Because I cant eat my Cheerios dry, Deborah.
8. My Back Brace
I have scoliosis so I need like a back brace to straighten up my back, but technically I'm not supposed to wear it anymore because it constricts my lungs. But like, I do what I want so I still wear it, even when I'm out with my friends! It's truly a fashion staple.
9. My Inhaler
Ever since my lung collapsed this summer (probably because of my back brace, but who knows) I've had to carry around an inhaler. But, typical me, I left it at home. It's a good thing I'm going home next weekend.
