It seems to always be my luck that when I am not looking for a relationship the right person comes into my life, sweeping me off of my feet. But I am not ready to be that smitten with someone just yet, and as soon as I am a person like them is nowhere to be found. People always say "well just date the guy", but you can't just date someone because they are wonderful if it just is not the right time in your life. No matter how wonderful they are, and here is why.
1. You can't see yourself spending the rest of your life with them
Love is not just doing it to doing it. If you love someone to be in a relationship you are looking to build a future with them, and when it comes to the point when you can't see yourself spending the rest of your life with them it isn't ok
2. You are afraid of how great the person is.
The last person you fell in love with was just as great as this person in front of you and it seems as though, no matter how bad you want to take a chance with them you are afraid. Afraid of the beauty of this person inside and out. You think back to all the pain the last person who you loved caused you and you are afraid of that outcome.
3. You don't want to hurt them
You know that if you fake any emotion such as love and they find out you can really do damage to that person. But so will you ending things. you feel torn because you don't want to damage such a beautiful individual in such a way.
4. You force conflict
You know that you don't want to hurt them, so you try to find ways and reasons to stop them from loving you so they choose to end things. Because then you aren't a bad person for breaking it off with them
5. You are not in the best spot
The type of person they are deserves someone who will love them unconditionally, and currently, at this stage in your life, you can't give them all of you at the moment.
6. You are both at different points in your life
It may be you who has a complete plan about what they have going for them, and they are the ones who don't know what it is they want to do with themselves or vice versa. But because of this, you cannot fully love them for you feel they are holding you back, or you are holding them back
7. You don't want them to be with anyone else
As selfish as this may sound, it happens. You know at this moment you aren't the best for them, but you don't want them to find someone else because you know that one day they will finally be right for you and you don't want them to move on just yet.
8. You know that they are just too great
There is a chance you may never find anyone like this person again. So you worry that if you leave them now because it isn't the right time, that when the right time does come around you won't find someone as wonderful as them.
9. The right thing to do is to let them go
Even though you don't want to, no matter how bad it hurts you have to let them go. Because that is what is best for them. They don't deserve someone who is wishy-washy, who may still be in love with the last person. they need someone who can give their all to them at once.
