Look, every plus size girl knows that finding plus size clothes is hard. It's a struggle, and it's no secret that a lot of stores deliberately do not carry plus size clothes (*cough* Abercrombie & Fitch *cough*).

Being plus size since I was in elementary school, I went through the phase in middle and high school where I would try and shove myself into clothes from retailers that simply did not carry my size in stores. Over the last few years, my style has evolved and my wardrobe is now essentially a collection. I'm happy with the progress that I've made in not only loving my body, but loving the way that I dress and look.

That being said, in my years of plus size shopping and jumping through trends, I've compiled a list of my favorite plus size websites*. While I don't buy from all of these retailers, they all carry beautiful pieces that deserve a spot in your 3AM online shopping sprees:

1. Torrid

This is the love of my life. Torrid is my favorite store and honest-to-god, I would have to say that 75% of my wardrobe is from here. Nearly every pair of jeans, every bralette, and every jacket comes from this place. They have every style, things that would flatter every body shape, and pieces that cater to all ages on here. Their clothes are specifically designed for plus size bodies. Honestly, check them out. You won't regret it.

2. Fashion Nova

It's not sketchy, it's not sketchy - I promise. Don't let the perfectly hourglass models fool you. This store is trendy. It's cheap and trendy, but cute. as. hell. Coupon codes anywhere from 15% off your purchase to 40% off your purchase are floating all over the internet and are super easy to find. This store has made an appearance in the last few months in both straight and plus size clothes, and rightfully so.

3. Forever 21

Guys. Forever 21 has plus size. It is not a drill. Their clothing in their plus size section is also super trendy and cater to younger girls, just like their straight-size line. While their pieces are trendier, they still make things that will carry you through multiple years. Ever since Forever 21 dropped their plus size line, I've zoned out in class just scrolling through this website on more than one occasion.

4. H&M

I've never shopped at H&M's plus size section, I'll be completely honest. BUT. I have shopped in their straight-size section before. And with that, I will say that there are crop tops and sweaters that fit my size 18 body. And they're reasonably priced. Now, for the plus size section, the clothing there is classics. It's things that you'll reach for on a day-by-day basis

5. Asos

If you don't want to buy directly from Boohoo, this website carries some of Boohoo's pieces on their's. They carry clothing that ranges anywhere from $15 an item, to upwards of $150 an item. You can put in your price range on the left hand side of the browsing page, and the website will automatically give you every option in their plus size section that falls within your price range. They carry everywhere from trendy to the minimalist, essential pieces in your wardrobe - they're really a staple website.

6. Lane Bryant

Okay, okay. Look. Lane Bryant isn't the trendiest clothing company ever, and it's a long-time staple in plus size clothing. But, my darling ladies, every once in a while something will catch your eye. I promise. A lot of my fancier tank tops, sweaters, and yoga pants come from this store. It just takes a little bit of digging and some patience.

$$ - $$$ / Women's 12-32

7. Cacique

Now, the greatest thing that Lane Bryant ever did was release Cacique. They're Lane Bryant's line of undergarments, and their sizes range a crazy amount. I have really, really small boobs, and their bras fit me. My best friend has ridiculously big boobs, and they fit her perfectly. All of their panties come in adorable patterns and colors, and they even have lingerie that's pretty risqué.

$$ / Women's 12-32 (32DD - 50DDD)

8. Maurices

This store is cute. This store is cute as hell. Every time I walk into one, they are playing country music and the sales associates are always willing to help. Their prices are a little high for my liking, but it's really awesome that they take classic pieces and add little details to them that make them unique.

$$ / Junior Plus 0X-4X (Women's 14-26)

9. Charlotte Russe

What can I even say about Charlotte Russe. Words can not describe my love for this store. They're trendy, they're pretty, they're lace-y; the quality is amazing for the price. You can find something to wear to a formal event, or you can find things to wear while you're weaving your way through a crowded frat house on a Saturday night.

$ - $$ / Junior Plus 1X - 3X (Women's 14-22)

There you have it; my own personal list of the best websites to shop at. You can find a piece from every single one of these stores in my closet, and honestly, a lot of my favorite pieces have come from thes stores. Enjoy, guys!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
