I'm going to be completely honest with you here. This article was originally going to be about things to do when you're home from college and bored. Then it hit me that there are two problems with doing fun things: college kids are both broke and lazy. So, I thought of things that college kids actually do when they're home from college -- they work and they watch TV shows. But watching begs the age old question -- what should I watch? Well, don't worry my fellow college students, in my infinite wisdom, I have decided to recommend the best shows Netflix and other services have to offer so you don't have to scroll through a list.
1. That 70's Show
This show is hilarious and as an added bonus, you get to see Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher together when they were young and remember that they're married now. All the feels.
2. Breaking Bad
Breaking Bad is easily one of the best shows I've ever watched. It's the kind of series that makes you sad when you finish it but trust me, the last episode is worth it.
3. Criminal Minds
If you don't mind being disturbed to your very core, Criminal Minds is the show for you. As a big fan of crime shows, this one is definitely a favorite.
4. Law & Order: SVU
Sorry, Criminal Minds, but Law & Order SVU has a special place in my heart. If you're a fan of crime shows and girl power (shout out to Olivia Benson), definitely consider watching this one.
5. Friends
This one speaks for itself. It's an awesome show so I included it on the list, even though chances are you've probably already seen every episode considering it's on TV pretty much at any given time.
6. Grey's Anatomy
In the spirit of transparency I'll admit -- I've never seen a single episode of this show. But considering every other girl my age has religiously watched very episode, I thought it would be wrong to not include it.
7. How I Met Your Mother
This show is a classic for our generation and for good reason-- it's funny and it actually has a lot of sentimental moments.
8. House of Cards
Again, this is a show I've never seen. What I do know is it's about politics and my brother swears by it. So I suppose if you like politics and my brother, consider House of Cards.
9. Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones has taken over pop culture lately so obviously it deserved a spot on the list. I've never watched it but nearly every other person in America has, so with that, this show may be a good choice.
Happy binge watching!
