If you haven't been to a pride parade, you have no idea what your missing out on.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community I find it important that all people, gay or striaght understand why we are so proud! Pride is fun for everyone, and is all about equality. LGBTQ+ Pride is our positive fight agaisnt discrimination. Don't we all deserve to love and be loved, without fear of persecution?

1. It's a good opportunity to go out and meet people.

All diferent kinds of people from all walks of life, it's quite amazing.

2. We earned it.

Not to be whiny, but the closet is a lot of work...

3. As Gaga says...

She is mother monster so we better listen.

4. Pride allows us to boast our true selves in public.

Not that we can't wear rainbow tutus everyday, but it is frowned upon.

5. We still have a ways to go.

I would say until a job cannot fire me, due to my lesbanisms.

6. Show the naysayers that all we want is love!

Surely we can get a few non-believers to stop getting their panties in a bunch.

7. Give gays and straights a chance to join alliance.

In a very big, pubic way. It truely is beautiful.

8. Who doesn't love all the colors?

Rainbow EVERYTHING.

9. We form a community.

A lot of us, sometimes feel like we do not belong in one. These parades make us feel included and loved!
