If ever there was a place to travel back in time, the best would be Walt Disney World. Admittedly the Lake Buena Vista location has gone through a series of changes, but it is the feeling it inspires which allows you to return to days past. During my first trip to Walt Disney World, I was a mere ten weeks old, and a love for all things Mickey Mouse has been in my DNA ever since. For those who aren't entirely convinced, I will give you more than enough reasons as to why this magical place is among the best on earth.

1. Main Street USA.

Disney's picturesque street is the place of nostalgic dreams with pleasant scents, balloon bouquets, and the indescribable sounds of film influenced music.

2. Four Amazing Theme Parks.

Beginning with the original Magic Kingdom theme park, Walt Disney World has expanded since its 1971 opening. Epcot was the second park followed by Hollywood Studios (formerly known as M.G.M. Studios), and Animal Kingdom.

3. Their Attractions Promote Diversity.

In particular the ride, "It's a Small World," is an attraction that may not be deemed the most exciting but is an utter classic that promotes loving everyone regardless of origins.

4. Epcot gives you the chance to travel the world without a passport.

The world showcase is the perfect way to experience multiple cultures over the course of one or more days. The different countries offer flavors, experiences, and goods straight from their native countries, and many of the world showcase employees are from said countries making for a more authentic and enriching experience.

5. Thrill rides make for an exciting adrenaline rush.

From "Rock 'n' Rollercoaster" and "Expedition Everest" to "The Hollywood Tower of Terror," Walt Disney World caters to all ages, and every thrill level.

6. Legendary finger food and refreshing snacks.

Florida tends to get a little stifling, especially in the summer months, and Disney has plenty of delicious treats to keep you cool or satisfy your childhood cravings for junk food. Salty popcorn, mickey shaped ice cream treats, cinnamon churros, and the famous Dole Whip are just a few of the fantastic offerings available at conveniently placed stands.

7. You have the chance to get up close with nature at Animal Kingdom.

"Kilimanjaro Safaris" offers you the opportunity to see some of the most amazing animals in a less confining environment than a zoo. A great time to get the most out of the experience is to make your safari a morning one, trust me it makes all the difference.

8. FastPass+ is amazing.

This service allows guests to schedule a time where they can get into a shorter line, fastpass has been a savior in busy seasons. Now, with a scheduling system you know when you can use your passes instead of losing out on being able to check out a popular ride.

9. World class entertainment.

Whether it is fireworks, parades, or one of the many shows available for viewing, Walt Disney World never fails to make an impact, especially when it comes to your nostalgia.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
