Audrey Hepburn inspires us in so many different ways—be it her inspirational quotes or her gamine charm. Looking back at her iconic photos, I've come to realize that even half a century ago, Audrey is right on cue with today's trends. What I would give to be as timeless and look impossibly feminine like Audrey.

But, Audrey is not just a style icon, she's inspirational in many other ways. Her life story is one for the books, and it's was made her such an amazing actress. From her classic bold brows to her influential charity work, here are 9 reason why Audrey Hepburn is, simply, the best:

Audrey Hepburn made bold brows chic.

Long before Cara Delevingne and even Brooke Shields made news with their gorgeous bold brows, there was Audrey.

She was a cat lady before everyone else.

She made being a crazy cat lady acceptable and, dare I say, even a desirable way of life. No one but Hepburn could make life as a cat lady look so elegant.

She ranked in the International Best Dressed List.

And for good reason. Hepburn was the muse of famous fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy. Givenchy and Audrey created what we now know as the classic Audrey Hepburn style, a combination of classic pieces and colors that are all skillfully structured. Hepburn’s style has influenced women’s fashion for decades, and will continue to do so into the future.

Hepburn’s classic look will never go out of style.

She made the LBD iconic.

Yes, the dress that is now a staple in everyone’s closet. Givenchy designed this classic dress for Hepburn’s iconic role in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Where would we be without the little black dress? The world may never know.

She was not only beautiful on the outside, but on the inside, too.

In the later part of her life, Hepburn dedicated herself and all her time to being a humanitarian. Hepburn was appointed Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF. Traveling to the poorest countries around the world, Hepburn devoted herself to helping impoverished children.

Not only did she have a beautiful face, but a beautiful soul, too.

She spoke not one, not two, but six languages.

Yes, six languages: English, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish and German. I could barely pass my freshman year Spanish class. Very good, Audrey––or should I say muy bueno?

She's an undeniably talented actress.

Hepburn is one of the few people to ever have won Academy, Emmy, Grammy and Tony awards. She was ranked the third greatest female screen legend in the history of American cinema, making Hepburn one of the most famed and awarded actresses of all time.

She is the epitome of femininity and class.

From her acting to the way she walked and talked, Audrey exuded grace and poise. Could it have been due to the fact that even before she was the renowned actress we know today, she was a successful ballet dancer? Every little girl has dreamt at least once in their life to become a ballerina. Audrey lived that dream. If only my mother signed me up for ballet classes, maybe I could have an ounce of her grace.

Audrey, you posh princess you.

She didn't let fame change her.

Unlike the majority of famous actresses, Hepburn stayed sane. She stayed down to earth and cared for her two sons. She made sure her children had a childhood and had a happy family life out of the spotlight of stardom.

Forever fabulous and always classy, Audrey Hepburn's legacy will continue to live on.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
