Brothers… Can’t live with them, can’t live without them. Your brother is your first friend and the second guy you love in your life. He protects you and loves you. Brothers, no matter how much they fight with you, always want what’s best for their sister. If you have a brother, you probably can’t imagine your life without him.

1. He can lift heavy things for you

Let’s be serious, whether you have a little or big brother, he’s bound to be pretty strong and he’s bound to lift the heavy things for you.

2. He can stick up for you

In a brother’s mind, nobody can make fun of you except for him. It’s a brother’s job to make fun of his sister. It’s how he likes to pass the time. But, if someone is making fun of you and it’s not him, they are in for some big trouble.

3. He can protect you against the bad ones

A brother can spot a bad guy from a mile away. He respects your decisions, but he wants to make sure that his sister is being treated with the love and respect that she deserves. If he spots a guy that he knows will not treat you the way you deserve, he’s going to make it known that he does not like that guy.

4. He makes you immune to being teased

Brothers tease. They make fun of you. All the teasing that you receive from your brother makes you immune to certain things that you can be made fun of for.

5. He makes you laugh your heart out

Your brother loves to see you laugh. He will do almost anything to make you laugh. He cracks jokes, he makes jokes about you, he makes silly faces and does silly things. Everything that he thinks is funny, he does in front of you so that you can laugh. Brothers love the sound of laughter.

7. He gives you hope and wants you to follow your dreams

Your brother inspires you to be a better person. He makes sure you know that you are loved. He wants you to be successful in life. He wants to see you follow your dreams. Even if your dream is to be funnier than him, he lets you think you are by laughing at all of your stupid jokes...even the ones that make no sense. He supports all of your crazy decisions and wants you do everything you need to to make your dreams a reality.

8. You will always have a loving guy in your life

Your brother is the second man you love in your life, after your dad of course. He loves you unconditionally. Yeah, you get under each other’s skin, but in the end, you will always have a man in your life to love.

9. You will always have a best friend

Your brother is your first playmate and your first friend. When you gain a brother in your life, you gain a best friend forever. No matter how many girl friends and guy friends you go through, your brother will stick by your side through thick and thin.
