Ah, midterms. A time where stress levels are at full capacity and studying seems never-ending. If we have learned one thing from high school it's that teamwork is crucial, especially during times like this.

There is no such thing as suffering alone, as these questions every student has asked one another definitely prove...

1. Is it cumulative?

The question that tells you exactly how much you should be stressing.

2. How much are you studying?

You usually ask this to get a roundabout time of how long you should dedicate your time to studying for an exam that ultimately means nothing to you in the end.

3. What are you studying?

This one is for the students with the teachers who love making you guess on what information will be on the exam. Like, seriously? The least you could do is give me a hint or two. Please?

4. How much percent does this make of our final grade?

If it's not that much, then don't stress. If it is… goodbye to my somewhat decent grade. See you never because clearly I am not cut out for this studious life. Peace and blessings.

5. Can we study together?

I love how sneaky this is. You claim that it's "easier for you to study with someone else" but in reality, you just want to know if they are studying more than you are. Or if they could just teach you the entire class in one night.

6. Should I get more coffee?

Caffeine overload during this week. But if you’re looking for a fast way to fall asleep, just hit those books and you'll be out in a flash.

7. Wait, what is going on?

Don’t you just LOVE when you look back at your notes have NO IDEA what has been going on? That’s the best. Nice.

8. Did you make a study guide?

Translation: Can you please, please, please send it to me?

9. When is this semester over?

Feels like never to me.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
