Let’s face it, most shows you typically watch are in limbo. Either your favorite cable series has ended or the premiere is so far out that you can afford the extra time to pick up a new show! So here I am, providing you the ultimate experience, if you already have a Netflix account that is, because these are the shows to watch now in your free time that will also take over yourself. Say goodbye to your social life and get ready for some quality time with your laptop and pillow!
1. House of Cards
The show has just enough action and drama where it keeps you on edge. It also gives you a sampling of what our political system is like in the US, which as you probably know is corrupt. In lieu of Trump, watch this show to easily understand how a corrupt person can weasel their way to the top as president.
2. The Vampire Diaries
Several benefits come along with binge-watching this show. Mainly the fact that you’ll be occupied for a good few weeks with the six seasons currently on Netflix and that if/once you are hooked there is a spinoff show, The Originals, which is also on Netflix. Fuse Teen Wolf and Gossip Girl and you’ve got the perfect mix along with an all-around hot cast, which makes watching so much better!
"Netflix has asked me 4 times today if I'm still watching the vampire diaries..... God I have NO LIFE! 😂"
— ♛ ℳorgan ℛaee (@Mowrguhn)
Same girl, same!
3. 90210
Okay Gossip Girl fans, I’m talking to you! Both 90210 and Gossip Girl were airing at the same time; however, 90210 did not get its rightful attention. Set in Beverly Hills, this show resembles The Hills, has a Dorothy-esque theme in the beginning, and has so many wild twists and turns you won’t even realize your weekend has been dedicated to reliving high school!
It's both a wonderful thing and a sad, sad time once you reach the end.
"Just finished 90210 on Netflix and I've never cried harder."

4. Once Upon A Time
As the Disney obsessed generation, this perfect fairytale-world of Storybrook undergoes several issues where the real world and supposedly fictional characters collide. The show is especially interesting because it takes any assessment you’ve previously had about certain super heroes and villains and spins it to see the good and evil in both!
"Having one of those nights where I keep saying "one more episode" of once upon a time on Netflix 🙈"
— Grace ⚓️ (@graceywacey_CC)
You have to keep watching.
5. Suits
It’s insane. It’s a paradox because it shows you a criminal justice system but in this case there isn’t any justice. Like any good lawyer shows there are so many layers yet each episode is open ended with cliffhangers, which automatically will put you in the detective mode to figure out what happens next!
6. Fuller House
Ahhhhhhhhh!!! If you haven’t already, 80s and 90s children, then it is time to reopen that period of your childhood and watch. The parallels between Full House and Fuller House are practically identical but the producers don’t necessarily make it somewhat of a disguise. Although the series has mixed reviews, overall the public thought it was good enough for a second series of episodes!
Also trust me, you don't want to miss every time they throw shade at the Olsen twins!
"At these prices, no wonder they don't need to act anymore."#FullerHouse

7. Homeland
In a bizarre twist, an American prisoner of war has been found and returned to the United States and is viewed as a war hero by many, except a CIA operative who is convinced that in their absence the POW has in fact been turned into a plotting member of Al Qaeda. The scariest part is you never know what to believe in the show, which will undoubtedly keep you up at night! Bonus points: the show is unpredictable!
8. That 70s Show
#PersonalityPic
Everyone loves a good laugh and That 70s Show is the perfect series to pick back up or start anew! The best part is that you can literally start from any point you choose because the series is nonlinear. Between Kelso, Jackie and Fez there isn’t really an excuse to scroll past this series on your Netflix!
"I had a dream that Netflix made you have to pay to watch that 70s show and it was horrifying"
— Kat△♃ (@Katerina_Gar)
Fear not, reportedly there is a remake in the works directed by Ashton Kutcher!
Fluff your pillow and get ready to not see the light of day once you begin, no judgement!
